Here Maps of Nokia coming to Samsung’s Android Smartphone

Nokia’s smartphone division is now fully acquired by Microsoft. Then again, it has some parts not sold to Microsoft that include apps like Here Maps which really competes with Google Maps. It excels from Google Maps in some areas like offline maps which is currently available in 95 countires, LiveSight which lets users follow virtual signs on screen and navigate to places. This application of Nokia is now coming to Android powered Samsung Smartphones.

Samsung and Nokia partnered up to implement Here Maps on Android powered devices. We can see Here Maps beta to be ported to Galaxy phones sometime in October when 3G enabled Gear S smartwatch goes on sale. Not only that, Nokia further says that this app will come to other Android devices as soon as this year ending.
