Lenovo’s announcement at IFA 2014: Vibe Z2, Vibe X2 and Tab S8

Lenovo announced 2 smartphones at their event in IFA 2014. Vibe X2 is powered by MediaTek processor whereas Vibe Z2 is underboss of its previously announced flagship Vibe Z2 Pro rocking Snapdragon’s 64-bit processor. Vibe X2 cost $399 and Vibe Z2 costs $429 starting availability in China this October.

Lenovo Vibe X2 has the following specifications:

  • 5″ 1920*1080 FHD display
  • MediaTek MT6595m True Octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 32GB of built-in storage
  • 13MP rear facing camera and 5MP front facing camera
  • 2300 mAh battery and weighs round 120g
  • 7.27mm thick
  • Android 4.4 KitKat with Lenovo’s Vibe UI 2.0

Lenovo Vibe Z2 has the following specifications:

  • 5.5″ 720p display
  • Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor clocked at 1.2GHz
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 13MP rear facing camera and 8MP front facing camera
  • Weighs 158g and have dual-sim support

Acer announced its new Windows powered tablet at IFA 2014. It comes with full Windows 8.1 support with an affordable price tag. The specifications are:

  • 1GB of RAM
  • 32GB internal memory expandable via microSD cards
